Equipment:
- Microscope
- Prepared slide
Method:
- Adjust the microscope lens to the lowest power.
- Look down the eyepiece and adjust the mirror until a bright light can be seen.
- Place the prepared slide onto the stage.
- Move the coarse focus knob in the opposite direction to view the object clearly.
- Rotate the nosespiece so that the high-power objective lens is in place.
- Use the fine focus to produce a clear image.
